GameTime has a longstanding history of positive environmental undertakings. They were the first playground manufacturer to become a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding sustainable building practices.
This dedication has continued over the years, which can be seen in GameTime’s manufacturing facility where they have reduced energy consumption by 41% since 2007 and recycled more than 30 tons of paper and cardboard – the carbon reduction equivalent of taking 23 cars off the road. In the past four years, GameTime has consecutively reduced water consumption by roughly 1,000 gallons per year.
In addition, GameTime pledges to use responsible materials that present the lowest environmental impact, yet can still endure the physical demands of active children and extreme weather climates. Today, more than 93% of the materials in GameTime products contain recycled content.
